I HAVE RETURNED.

Hello! I’m back from the Anime Festival that I went to Saturday and Sunday with my mom and good friends , and

Man the convention was moved to a larger hotel this year and there was more room to do things and more rooms with activities and such. We got a room up in the hotel (though the hotel couldn’t get us into the room till 2 HOURS LATER but we got free buffet breakfast for our troubles… @3@ The breakfast potatoes were so delicious… ) and ran around it like crazy going back and forth from the convention and room. Also a wedding reception was going on as well. So I’m sure any normal person who had come to the hotel was confused by the weird Cosplay dressed people and wedding people as well.

We shall begin with Saturday~
Got up to the convention probably around 11 o’ clock, began to explore the convention, caught up with Kiki and she showed us around (she’d been there since Friday). OMG! She got me my birthday present there and gave me these four cute rice ball plush as my gift! They’re so cute, they’re about the size of my hand and have these adorable faces (she bought them with all different freaking out faces because she thought they looked like me )

She lost a bag that day and we spent some time looking for it, taking a break we watched this anime… I believed it was called Shattered Hearts or something like that, in the anime viewing room… Omg reasons why I dislike shojo anime so much… Okay I don’t totally hate it because I do like Fruits Basket and decent things like that… But this was so sugary sick and sweet I wanted to throw up (not to mention the guy, who she called prince, had a fighting move called ‘Rising Unicorn’…. Couldn’t they have said ‘Rising Pegasus’s’? That would have been cool… ). Anyway, we found Kiki’s bag and then shopped around the dealers room…

I got the Complete Mushi-Shi anime set, 26 episodes on two DVDS. It’s a really interesting anime, it’s not full of action or squishy romance but more strange and intricate stories that I found to be wonderful. I got D. Gray Man manga volumes 8 and 9 and Hoshin Engi 8, 9, and 10. : > Oh I also bought Kiki a Kyo Soma cat head pillow.

We then went to the Cosplay fashion show at 4 and man there was some cool cosplayers. By far the best cosplay this year would have to be this Code Geass cosplay of Zero, a Big Daddy cosplay from Bioshock (it even had LED lights in it that glowed ) and Pyramid Head and Nurse from Silent Hill. Afterwards I went back to my room and relaxed cause I was tired, attempted to plug in my PS2 but the stupid Hotel TV wouldn’t let it work… D: Later I went to the Ball (well I was dragged to it) and watched people dance and had some fun.

Sunday came (wow this journal is long ) and we got up and went down to the lobby and had a lovely breakfast. The host for the convention was there as well, all in his garb but I didn’t wave or scream at him. Maybe he just wanted to enjoy his breakfast in peace I thought. We had to leave early so we headed up to the dealer room one more time, I bought a much desire Halloween Town Sora Figurine.

We left the convention and went to the mall, cause I wanted to go to Hottopic. BUT IT WAS CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS. Oh well I was still happy...

CAUSE I GOT THIS AWESOME JASON VOORHEES FIGURE

He’s from Friday the 13th part 7, 12 inches tall, includes removable mask, with machete, axe and sickle. He’s so awesome… Kiki said that I shouldn’t take him out of the box cause he would be worth something someday… But of course I opened it anyway… Now he sits upon my bookshelf ready to dismember anyone who wants to come into my room. Also a new TNBC poster for my wall(which is over run in posters and my Joker calender already D: )

That was my convention. Okay a lot more stuff happened but I covered the basis or it all.

TODAY IS MEH BIRTHDAY! I TURN 16.

We are going to have cheesecake tonight… So much cheesecake… C:
Also going to watch the 'The Haunting of Molly Hartley' and hopefully get to go see the new Harry Potter movie this week. :3
